The Art Smart Challenge Party at Tulsa Stained Glass!

Give your budding artist and friends of all ages the opportunity to be honored at the Tulsa State Fair by having their winning artwork displayed and replicated in stained glass.

Have an awesome birthday party like no other! Our party host will lead a studio tour with a presentation of the stained glass development process and help with the party painting session. Your guests are invited to paint two pictures; one for themselves, one for the guest of honor. In addition, they will take home a free artist packet for entering the Art Smart Challenge - Oklahoma competition. The packet includes competition rules, paper and a pre-paid certificate for entering artwork.

Art Smart Challenge Competition: Individual artwork submissions into the competition are $7 per painting, but every paid Party participant receives one free in their take home artist packet. The Party participant returns their finished work by September 25, 2010 to the Art Play Center for submission into the Art Smart Challenge competition at the Tulsa State Fair.

Parents and Educators: Art Smart Challenge is a motivating venue for personal growth, art enrichment and nurturing the creative spirit. Individuals, schools and diverse groups are encouraged to participate in this competition.

Entry Forms: Entry forms for submitting artwork can be printed from www.artsmartchallenge.com or visit the Art Play Center next to Tulsa Stained Glass on the SW corner of 41st and Memorial, Tulsa.

At the Tulsa State Fair: All entries submitted for the Art Smart Challenge competition will be judged immediately after the September 25th deadline. Winner’s artwork will be displayed at the Tulsa State Fair. Cash and prizes will also be awarded.
The top winner will receive a stained glass panel replica of their artwork. This stained glass window will be built during the fair in the Art Play Center entertainment area located on the lower level of the QuikTrip Center.

Other Parties:

Our parties are mosaic ($5 each) and painted ceramics (starting at $7). Other projects include wooden boxes, crosses and the like. The party room is $35 for 90 minutes of fun, with enough space to sit 25 people. We have no sitting charges.

 Adult Classes:

Stained Glass for Beginners

Learn to make stained glass windows from the professionals at Tulsa Stained Glass and become part of the team at the Tulsa State Fair. The grand prize winner's artwork of Art Smart Challenge-Oklahoma will be turned into a stained glass window at the fair. Team training classes begins Aug 5 for eight weeks on Thursdays, from 7 to 9:30pm. Classes are for adults only. The class fee is $175 plus materials, but includes the use of tools and texts.
